“For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.”– Mark 5:28–29
Many of us heard a number of sermons about the healing of the woman with the issue of blood. A number of people would say, she received her healing because she persisted to touch Jesus’ garment. She was made cure because she struggled for her healing. But in the big picture, most of us forget that as Jesus had been walking by, He has been declaring who He is. He has been showing His glory to everyone who saw Him. And this glory with His word of truth brings people to hear about how GOOD, KIND, LOVING JESUS is. And through this, the woman heard the good news about Christ Jesus and this kindled her heart to believe and have faith in Christ Jesus. She had faith that Christ could heal her and Christ would heal her. Her healing came after she believed Jesus’ goodness, grace, and love. This woman believed in her heart having heard Jesus’ goodness, that Christ has the power [authority] to free and heal her from her affliction.
In the same manner, now that we are in Christ, our Father wants us to believe in His goodness and love towards us. He wants you to know my friends how willing He is to act on your behalf to bless you, to protect you, and to keep you secure! While we were still sinners, He gave His Son Christ Jesus, the Darling of Heaven, to us. How much more now that we already are His children and heirs? Abba Father will freely give us every good thing (Romans 8:32)!
I am blessed to have heard a healing testimony from a brother in Christ. He couldn’t help but share this abundance in his heart. He said, “healing comes when you know [believe and receive] how much Christ’s has forgiven you.” This is a WOW truth! Indeed, when we realize that there is now no condemnation in our lives because we are in Christ Jesus, His life just overflows like rivers of water.
My friends, it is my prayer that we continually hear and act upon the truth that through Christ Jesus, our Father had made a lasting covenant of peace and grace with us – that we are forever right with Him; that we are blessed and favored as His Son our Savior Jesus because we have been made new and all the fullness of Christ has been given to us. Hallelujah! Therefore, let’s always remind ourselves that we are dearly loved by our Father and from that realization, overflows the manifestations of what we have been believing for.
May your day be filled with so much awesomeness for you deserve it because Jesus made it so just for you! I pray for smiles on your face, gladness in your heart, and peace in your mind as you begin your day. Blessings to you, to your entire family and to your loved ones, too!
