At the LRT Vito Cruz Station
After one of the lady guards frisked me, I chased my way down to the machine entrance to catch the coming train. I hurriedly yet “conveniently” got my beep card from my wallet while struggling to pass through a number of people in front of me.
When I finally arrived in front of the machine, I tapped my card on it with anticipation of catching the train. But to my surprise, nothing happened!
So, I immediately tapped my card back so I can still get on the train. I made sure this time I would tap it on the sensor carefully – that is basically just at the center of the monitor. But to my frustration, nothing happened! No alerts! No sound at all!
Then one of the lady guards looked at me and me feeling embarrassed already just threw a smile at her then I continued…
Wanting to save myself from embarrassment, I decided to tap my card back for the third time to check what’s wrong. Right after I tapped in on the machine, it showed the same response.
So I looked at my card and I just dropped a BIG SMILE and blurted “What the!”
